Isabel was born within Melbourne Australia. Her mother is Swiss and her father Australian. Her family lived in Australia, Switzerland, Melbourne Jabiru (a small mining community in Northern Territory), Cairns Australia and in Jabiru, Switzerland. Along with her sister Nina, she went to schools where First Nations and other children from different backgrounds were accepted. Isabel is a resident of Byron Bay NSW Australia. Isabel has been involved with drama from her early primary school days. When she graduated from Queensland Institute of Technology (QUT), she studied drama at the Victoria College of Arts. Additionally, she recently finished a class in the Perdekamp emotional method. Her auditions were not for any parts until being asked via her agents in 2002. She auditioned to be a character of Home and Away 1988. Though they did not think she was a suitable person for the role however, the producers were still amazed and chose to offer Tasha another part. Her first role on television lasted three years and she was given a Logie Award in the category of emerging talent. Isabel moved in 2008 to Los Angeles. In 2009, her breakthrough role was in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Seit then, she has appeared in many US-based and Australian films. Isabel has recently appeared on Bosh & Rockit Ocean Boy the film which is rapidly becoming a Australian iconic. Isabel also starred in the soon to be released film Lunacy. Isabel completed her role in Sons of Summer and is in pre-production for the role of Marie Curie in Radiant with award-winning writerdirector Annika Glac. Isabel supports animal rights, and has been involved in several environmental organisations. She has been a dedicated PatronAmbassador for Melbourne's Human Rights and Arts Film Festival HRAFF for over 10 years up to 2020. Known for her ethical eco-conscious passion and commitment to the cause of social justice Isabel has been named the brand's spokesperson as well as the face of a number of campaign for cosmetics and fashion.
